Terms & Conditions
Current Vaccinations/Veterinarian Information: By using our services, owners verify their dogs are up to date with vaccinations for canine parvovirus, canine distemper virus, leptospirosis and infectious canine hepatitis. Proof of Vaccination shall be provided on request as well as current veterinarian information.
Health or Medical Problems & Elderly Dogs: Grooming procedures can sometimes be stressful, especially for a senior dog or dog with health problems, and can expose hidden medical problems or aggravate a current one during or after the groom.
In the best interest of your pet, we will obtain immediate veterinary treatment for your pet should it be deemed necessary by us. We will do our best to contact you first, then take your pet to our authorised veterinarian, or to the nearest veterinarian that is available. It is agreed that all expenses for veterinary care will be covered by the pet’s owner.
Fleas/Ticks: We strive to be a flea/tick-free environment. If your dog has a flea or tick infestation we will ask that you reschedule your grooming appointment once the flea or tick problem is under control.
Dogs with a flea or tick infestation carry a risk of anaemia, infections, tapeworms and other health problems. We recommend that you contact your veterinarian for advice on the best treatment for your situation.
If fleas are found on your dog we will bathe your dog in flea shampoo and we will have to require additional disinfecting of our premises, this will incur a £15 charge on your grooming bill.
If ticks are found an additional charge of £5 will be added for their removal.
Accidents: There is always the possibility an accident could occur. Grooming equipment is sharp, even though we use extreme caution and care in all situations.
Possible problems that could occur include cuts, nicks, scratches and quickening of the nails. In most cases, this can happen when a dog is wiggling or moving around.
We make every effort to ensure your dog is groomed as safely as possible, but if your dog does not accept the process it can be dangerous to continue the groom.
Matted Coats: We do not de-matt neglected coats. This is very different to removing small knots, tangles and isolated matted hair from the coat which can be achieved quickly without causing anxiety, stress or pain.
The health and condition of a dog’s coat and skin are the responsibility of the owner (along with its physical and psychological state of health). Professional grooming plays an important role in the commitment undertaken when choosing any breed of dog. This level of commitment is evident in the condition of the coat due to effective home grooming and temperament due to socialisation and training.
Aggressive or Dangerous Dogs: Owners MUST inform us if your dog bites, has bitten or is aggressive to people, other pets or specific grooming procedures. We reserve the right to refuse or stop services of your dog at any time before or during the grooming process and charge an Aggressive Dog Fee of £10 in addition to the regular grooming charge.
If your dog should bite, the owner agrees to be responsible for any and all related medical bills, recovery costs, loss of income and equipment damage.

Additional charges will apply for the extra time and products involved in grooming neglected coats, in particular those which require clipping off due to severe matting and for dogs whose temperament or health also requires more time to complete.
Cancellations and Missed Appointments: Any amendments to an appointment must be made at least 48 hours prior. This includes changing the appointment from a full groom to a bath and tidy or vice versa.
If an appointment is rescheduled within 24 hours a 50% charge will incur.
If the appointment is cancelled on the day of the appointment or a no-show, 100% of the charge will incur.

If you are more than fifteen minutes late for your appointment slot, The Paw Revolution reserves the right to refuse to groom and 100% of the appointment fee will be charged.
Bookings: The client agrees to make full and complete disclosure in their booking registration form of any matter, fact, quality or characteristic which might render their pet unsuitable for any service they request.
We are not responsible for any delays outside our control. If the provision of our service is delayed by events outside our control, we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and will take steps to minimise the effect of the delay.
Payment: A guide price will be agreed before the groom starts. If any issues arise during the groom that add cost on top, the owner will be notified. For example, adding on top a matting fee. If payment is made via bank transfer, this should be paid 24 hours prior to the appointment time to ensure the funds have cleared in good time.
Insurance: We have comprehensive insurance covering the performance of duties and every precaution is taken to fully care for and protect the pets in our care.
General Safety, Security and Health: Clients agree to provide full and detailed information on the registration form about their dog(s). They must disclose any behavioural or medical condition that may make their dog unsuitable for any service – this would include, but is not limited to:
antisocial behaviour, aggression, separation anxiety, possessive behaviour, incontinence/lack of housetraining, tendency to run away or escape on walks or in the home, chronic vomiting or travel/ mobility problems, destructive behaviour inside or outside the home, or excessive loud barking/whining.
Failure on the part of the owner to disclose any matter which might make their dog unsuitable for a service will be considered a fundamental breach of our agreement and may result in services being withdrawn at short notice.
The owner agrees to reimburse members for any damage to their property caused by their dog.
All dogs must be fully vaccinated (including for kennel cough) and be on regular flea and worm control treatments. Owners must provide a vaccination record showing dogs are up to date with vaccinations.

We reserve the right to cancel a booking if we have not received up to date vaccination and/or parasite treatment records.
Clients must inform us if their dog contracts any infectious condition and we reserve the right not to provide a service to any dog with an infectious condition until they are satisfied it has cleared. This may require a confirmation from a vet.

Refer a friend scheme: Clients are welcome to refer as many friends as they want. Each referral is 10% off an individual groom. The discount will apply to the client AFTER their referred friend has had their appointment. The Paw Revolution reserves the right to withdraw this deal at any time. The deal only applies to full grooms and will not apply if the dog is found to be matted and requires a shave down. Scheme starts at midnight on 01/02/2023 and expires at midnight on 28/02/2023. Any referrals made outside of this period do not qualify for the scheme.
